The actual debate in south Tel Aviv is a very political and explosive one, with at once global and local features. Israeli architect and author Sharon Rotbard zooms in on urban, national and global politics in the black city, taking place in his own Shapira neighborhood, where veterans, immigrants, settlers, refugees, hipsters and gentrifiers are to be cohabiting.
