Steven Weinberg
Scholar of Literature
Steven Weinberg joined the department of German Studies of Rutgers University in Fall 2017 as an Excellence Fellow.
Before coming to Rutgers, Steve spent three years living in Be’er Sheva, Israel, where he completed an M.A. in Literature at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His M.A. Thesis is on Franz Kafka’s novel Der Prozess and its connection to a crisis in jurisprudence occurring in Central Europe at the turn of the twentieth century. His research interests are Kafka, German-Jewish studies, law, humor, and Nietzsche. At present he is a research fellow at Humboldt University in Berlin.
