Ksenia Luchenko

Ksenia Luchenko is a freelancer journalist and independent researcher. She graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Moscow State University in 2001. Then worked in various Russian media, specializing in religious topics and new media, in 2009 she defended her PhD thesis, entitled “The Internet in Information and Communication Activities of Religious Organizations in Russia.” As an expert on religious issues in the Russian media and the role of the media in the church-public relations, she authored ”The Orthodox Internet: Guidebook” (two editions in 2004 and 2006 respectively) and a number of other publications.
