Kapela Brodow

The repertoire of the band comprises secular and religious compositions originating form the territories of the Polish Commonwealth, while their performances take us through the calendar of Polish holidays and rituals.
25 years of wanderings in the countryside and listening to folk musicians brought the discovery that at weddings and village dances they play Jewish music that somehow had remained in their memory. It is a great undertaking of Witek Broda – a violinist and researcher of traditional music.
