Michael Freikman

Michаel Freikman holds a PhD in Archeology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His dissertation bears the title: Megalithic Architecture of the Near East. Case Study of the Golan. He has been Project Director of the Giv’at Ze’ev Regional Survey (MBII, Iron Age, Byzantine Periods) since 2013. Apart from numerous participations in excavation projects (among them Kh. Qeiyafa; Rujm Hiri and Al ‘Arbain), he was Visiting Professor at Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University in 2012-2015, and taught at the Institute of Archaeology at HUJI.
