    This mini-course by Prof. Boaz Huss will discuss some of the major developments of modern Kabbalah and Hassidism, and the integration of Kabbalistic themes within contemporary culture. Following a short survey of the major concepts of Jewish Kabbalah and its historical development, we will look at the modern transformations of Kabbalah in the late 19th and early 20th century, and the contemporary revival of interest in Kabbalah in Israel and around the world. We will discuss the major modern developments of Kabbalah and Hassidim and examine the integration of Kabbalah in contemporary Arts and popular culture

    The course is in English with translation into Russian.
